Media Notes: Bundesliga Names Soccer Laduma Official Media Partner In Africa

The Bundesliga named online magazine Soccer Laduma its official media partner in Africa. The agreement will allow Soccer Laduma to show video highlights on every matchday, as well as interview access to some of its biggest clubs and players. Neither the financial terms nor duration were released (SOCCEREX, 11/30).

German car and motor sports channel Motorvision TV launched on six additional TV platforms in Europe, Africa and Asia. In Africa, parent company Motorvision Group "reached a distribution agreement with content provider Vubiquity to deliver Motorvision TV as one of the launch channels on Black, the new OTT platform." By "teaming up with" Asian Cable Communications (ACCION), Motorvision TV can be received in the Philippines for the first time. In the Maldives, Motorvision TV agreed to a new distribution partnership with local telecom Dhiraagu. Building on its existing distribution agreement in Germany and France, Motorvision TV and Watch-it extended their partnership to Australia. Motorvision TV also expanded its reach in the Netherlands with its introduction on YoufoneTV (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 11/30).
