Marketplace Roundup: Japan Airlines Appoints M&C Saatchi Ahead Of Tokyo 2020

Japan Airlines (JAL) appointed M&C Saatchi Japan to "work on a new global branding strategy" ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The move "follows a pitch that included four agencies." M&C Saatchi said that JAL will target the U.S., Europe and Asia with TV commercials and YouTube content. JAL is an official airline partner of Tokyo 2020 (CAMPAIGN LIVE, 11/28).

Premiership Rugby side Worcester Warriors named iPro Sport the club's official hydration partner through May '19. IPro will supply the first team and academy players with hydration and aid recovery (Worcester Warriors). 

FA Women's Premier League Northern Division side Derby County Ladies "linked up" with the University of Derby as the club considers becoming semi-professional in time for the '18-19 season. The club is a third-tier side, but changes to the Women's Super League could see it "move up to tier two" (BBC, 11/28).

The Donegal Gaelic Athletic Association announced Abbey Hotel, Donegal Town as its new tier 2 partner. The Abbey Hotel logo will be featured on the rear of the Donegal GAA jersey, training gear and on the team leisurewear (DONEGAL DEMOCRAT, 11/28).
