Media Notes: Ginx Esports TV Launches On Cosmote TV In Greece

Video gaming channel Ginx Esports TV launched on Cosmote TV in Greece. The channel covers esports and gaming "through new games, professional athletes and the world's top gaming tournaments." The channel will be "available through Cosmote TV packs as well as through Cosmote TV Go and Cosmote Replay TV services" (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 11/27).

German media company Motor Presse TV is bringing auto motor und sport channel to Scandinavia. Auto motor og sport TV launched as "Norway’s first car channel on pay-TV platform Canal Digital" on Nov. 27, reaching 2.5 million Norwegian households. The local productions are contributed by Norwegian production company Zip:it AS (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 11/27).

on Sunday against Slovenia drew just 162,000 viewers, which translated to a market share of 1%. Spain and Slovenia also met during EuroBasket 2017 on Sept. 14 in a game that drew an average audience of more than 3 million viewers. That "marked the largest Spanish audience of the year for a basketball game" (LIBERTAD DIGITAL, 11/27).
