ARSÈNE WENGER admitted he is "not certain" to finish his latest two-year contract as Arsenal manager, saying that he will "discuss the situation with the club's board at the end of the season." Wenger, who has maintained a desire to "honour" his contracts, denied his position will be under official review in the summer but refused to confirm he would stay at the Emirates until '19 (London TELEGRAPH, 11/15). ... Jamaican sprinter NESTA CARTER appealed his doping disqualification from the 2008 Olympics that cost USAIN BOLT a historic "triple triple" at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. The 32-year-old Carter is challenging his disqualification imposed by the IOC "for a positive test for a banned stimulant" (REUTERS, 11/15). ... Indian basketball player AMRITPAL SINGH continued his "meteoric rise" by becoming the first Indian national to be in the starting lineup of a National Basketball League team (TIMES OF INDIA, 11/15).
