Marketplace Roundup: Tunisian Football Federation Signs Four-Year Deal With Ooredoo

The Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) entered a four-year commercial agreement with Ooredoo. Under the terms of the contract, the telecom "will have a strong brand presence through LED bands and step-and-repeat boards" at all of Tunisia’s men’s national team fixtures. According to Tunisian news outlet Kapitalis, the deal is worth TND$2.5M ($1M) per year (SOCCEREX, 11/10).

Three Chinese companies have "given a financial boost" to the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia by sealing sponsorship deals last week. The companies following the lead of Chinese apparel firm 361 Degrees are car retailer Biau Bang, construction materials supplier Beautiful Tomorrow and bioenergy tech solutions specialist New Energy. The Games' organizing committee also signed sponsorship agreements with "major state-owned businesses" including Telkom Indonesia, Bank Negara Indonesia, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Mandiri and Pertamina (ASIA SPONSORSHIP NEWS, 11/10).

Lander Sports signed a deal with Zhihui Real Estate to "accelerate the construction of its sports projects." The sports company’s subsidiaries, Hangzhou Lander Lingang, Hangzhou Lander Jiusha Sports, Lander Western Sports-Panlong Branch, Lander Sports Venue Management and Nanjing Lander Real Estate, also signed commission contracts with Zhihui, worth about 8M yuan ($1.2M) in total (YUTANG SPORTS, 11/8).

LIHON Petrochemical Co. signed a sponsorship deal with Infront China, the exclusive commercial partner for the Chinese Basketball Association worldwide, "which will make Lihon Lubricant the exclusive designated automobile lubricant supplier for the Chinese men's national basketball team" (YUTANG SPORTS, 11/10).
