Kenyan Olympic marathon champion JEMIMA SUMGONG was suspended for four years for doping. CHARITY MATCH: ANDY MURRAY gave "the first public indication of whether he has fully recovered" from a hip injury when he played ROGER FEDERER in a charity match in Glasgow on Tuesday. Murray, 30, last played on July 12 when he lost to American SAM QUERREY in the Wimbledon quarterfinals. The Scot faced Federer as part of the Andy Murray Live exhibition "to raise funds for a variety of charities." Murray also teamed up with his brother, JAMIE, to take on TIM HENMAN and MANSOUR BAHRAMI in a doubles match (BBC, 11/6).
