Australia-England Women's Ashes Test To Be Livestreamed Internationally In HD

The day-night Women's Ashes Test between Australia and England will "break new ground with a broadcast-quality HD live stream available free to viewers around the world," with an all-female commentary cast, according to Laura Jolly of CRICKET.COM.AU. Made possible by assistance from the Commonwealth Bank, it will be the first time a live stream in full HD is available to fans. The commentary lineup will include former Australian players Lisa Sthalekar and Mel Jones, who will be joined by former England captain Charlotte Edwards and pace bowler Isa Guha. The day-night Test at North Sydney Oval from Thursday-Sunday will be live and free on cricket.com.au and the Cricket Australia Live app for viewers in Australia and the U.K. Viewers in the U.K. will also have the option to stream via BT Sport, while in the subcontinent, the coverage will be made available through Sony LIV. The enhanced coverage will include a full production unit, 360-degree coverage including super slo-mo and run out cameras, advanced and updated streaming graphics and a continuous broadcast with no holding slates (CRICKET.COM.AU, 11/7).
