COACHES/MANAGERS: Bundesliga side Werder Bremen "parted ways" with coach ALEXANDER NOURI after failing to win any of its opening 10 league matches this season. Nouri had "been in charge just over 13 months" (ESPN.com, 10/30). ... The Hungarian Football Federation hired GEORGE LEEKENS as coach of its national team. Leekens resigned as Algeria's coach in January after the team's early exit from the African Cup of Nations. The federation said that Leekens will "assume his post" after Hungary's two November friendlies (AP, 10/30).
