Discovery, Eurosport Unveil Plans For Digital Coverage Of PyeongChang Games

Discovery Communications and Eurosport unveiled plans to transform the 2018 PyeongChang Games viewing experience. Eurosport will deliver the first fully-digital Games for Europe, with live and on-demand coverage in 48 markets. The interactive Eurosport Player will allow fans to watch every minute, athlete and sport. More than 4,000 hours of coverage and 100 events will be available, including 900 hours of live action, more than ever before across the continent. The new "Make It Yours" campaign will let fans choose what they watch. The campaign features Eurosport's new anthem, a modern cover of Queen's "I Want It All," performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. Eurosport will also have a dedicated mobile digital studio in PyeongChang, which represents another Olympic Games first for Europe. Additionally, there will be a new "Eurosport Cube" studio which will use augmented reality and enhanced data to create an immersive and interactive environment (Eurosport).
