Media Notes: Germany's ARD, ZDF Secure UEFA Nations League

German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF will continue to screen the int'l matches of Germany’s national football team. SportA, the sports rights agency for ARD and ZDF, reached an agreement with UEFA regarding 12 int'l matches between '18 and '22. The contract, of which financial details have not been disclosed, "covers the games of the German team in the newly created UEFA Nations League which will replace the previous friendly matches" (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 10/27).

U.K. racecourse operator Arena Racing Company partnered with Australian betting and gaming operator Tabcorp. The "wide-ranging agreement comes into force" in '18 and allows Tabcorp to distribute ARC’s U.K. greyhound racing services in the Australian market via the Sky Racing channel. Tabcorp will also "offer wagering on the greyhound events broadcast and streamed by Sky Racing" (GAMING INTELLIGENCE, 10/27).

Eleven Sports has become the only sports service available in Belgium following an agreement that will see the platform included in TV Vlaanderen/Télésat's basic offer. Following agreements with Proximus, Telenet, VOO, SFR, Orange and Scarlet TV, TV Vlaanderen/Télésat is the seventh and last Belgian operator to launch Eleven Sports (Eleven Sports).
