Marketplace Roundup: FFA Signs McDonald's As A-League Partner

Football Federation Australia announced a partnership deal with McDonald's that will see the fast food company become an official partner of the A-League and official partner of the Video Assistant Referee system for the competition. The VAR system was introduced late last season and will be a regular part of the new season (A-League). 

The Shanghai Masters tennis tournament announced French sports and fashion brand Lacoste will be the official and exclusive partner at Asia's only ATP Masters 1000 tournament and will clothe all officials and lines-people at Qi Zhong Tennis Stadium. Lacoste's logo will also be visible on the courts with banners. The five-year partnership will include two sales areas at the venue (Shanghai Masters). 

World Rugby and Sports Travel & Hospitality announced the appointment of local and global official travel agents that will deliver travel packages for Rugby World Cup Sevens 2018 in San Francisco. The domestic travel program will be operated by USA Eagles Tours, which is serving as North America's official tour operator (World Rugby). 

The Professional Squash Association extended its commercial partnership with Swedish sportswear manufacturer Salming, which sees the brand expand its position as the PSA's official clothing and shoe partner. The extension, through '19-20, will see Salming branding showcased at major PSA World Tour events and via the PSA website and social media channels (PSA).
