PGA Tour To Hold First Event In South Korea With CJ Cup In Jeju

The inaugural CJ Cup at Nine Bridges, the first official PGA Tour event in South Korea, has attracted 32 players from the Top 50 of the current FedExCup standings including Australia's Marc Leishman and American Justin Thomas. The $9.25M tournament, which will be played from Oct. 19-22 on the isle of Jeju, will also feature 15 Presidents Cup team members. A total of 10 major tournament winners will play, headed by four-time major champion Ernie Els of South Africa and Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell. The event will offer one of the largest prize purses in world golf, and TV broadcasts will have a reach across 226 countries (CJ Cup).
