German FA Confirms 10 Stadiums It Will Use In Euro 2024 Bid

The German FA (DFB) confirmed the 10 venues Germany plans on using for Euro 2024, according to Samindra Kunti of INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL. The main venues will be Hertha Berlin's Olympiastadion, Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena and Borussia Dortmund's Westfalenstadion. Germany is considered the favorite to host Euro 2024, with Turkey the only other bidder in the race. UEFA previously announced that all bids "must strictly comply with human rights rules, which may work against Turkey's bid." In addition to its three "flagship stadiums," the DFB selected Fortuna Dusseldorf's Esprit Arena, Stuttgart’s Mercedes-Benz Arena, Cologne's RheinEnergieStadion, Hamburg's Volksparkstadion, RB Leipzig's Red Bull Arena, Schalke's Veltins-Arena and the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt. UEFA will choose between Germany and Turkey in Sept. '18 (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 9/18).
