Westlake will be the ESA's figurehead and spokesperson, working with the other ESA board members to ensure active growth and participation in the industry (ESA). ... League 1 rugby side Barrow Raiders announced the return of DAVID SHARPE as chair. Sharpe stood down from the role "citing work commitments" at the conclusion of the '16 season. His return, succeeding interim Chair ALLAN PARK, coincided with three new faces joining the board in DAVE and HAZEL ROBINSON and JOHN COWARD (NORTH-WEST EVENING MAIL, 9/14). ... Pro14 side Dragons named DAVID BUTTRESS its new chair. The 40-year-old is currently a member of venture capital firm 83North and has "invested financially in the Dragons."
