Fifth Annual Game Changers Draws More Than 400 For N.Y. Conference

Game Changers' fifth edition delivered the energy, camaraderie and networking opportunities that attendees have come to expect from the event that puts the spotlight on women who are impacting the sports business universe. The event drew more than 400 attendees.

Among the recurring themes during the day’s panels and interviews was the importance of mentors and peer support, recognition of the strong business case that can be made for diverse organizations and commitment to continuing the call for diversity at all levels of the industry.

“We are making huge progress,” said ESPN CFO Christine Driessen during a one-on-one interview that kicked off the conference. “We have a lot of work left to do, especially in the management ranks. But women are breaking the barrier more and more every day.”
