Adidas Relaunches Predator Precision Boots With Help From David Beckham

Adidas relaunched its "iconic" Predator Precision boots alongside David Beckham, according to Amitai Winehouse of the London DAILY MAIL. The boots were first released in '00 and were the first Predators of the new millennium, "worn by the likes of Beckham, David Trezeguet, Steven Gerrard and Zinedine Zidane." Now, new fans will be able to "get their hands on the classic footballing footwear -- as long as they act quickly during the limited release." The boots will be available online from Tuesday, priced at £299 ($389), "or in very select stores." Beckham posed for a series of photos with the boots, "which he famously wore" for England and ManU (DAILY MAIL, 9/5). THE DRUM's John McCarthy reported Zidane also "fronts the campaign; fittingly the special edition boots will only be available in adidas’ Paris outlet" from Friday. Adidas retired its Predator boots in '15, "although a demand has clearly remained for the sneakers" (THE DRUM, 9/5).
