All Blacks' '17 Season To Be Featured In Amazon Prime Documentary

The All Blacks will be featured in an "exclusive Amazon Original Series" that will be available in the first half of '18 to a global audience of tens of millions of Amazon Prime members in over 200 countries and territories, according to the London TELEGRAPH. New Zealand Rugby granted "unprecedented access" to Amazon Prime Video to follow the All Blacks throughout '17, including the recent Lions Series. The series will "provide a look inside the world of the players, coaches and the support team that sits behind them through the season, on and off the field." Amazon Prime Video "has a track-record of producing and broadcasting outstanding sports content" including The Grand Tour with Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May and an upcoming series on Tour de France chef Hannah Grant. NZR CEO Steve Tew said, "This is an incredible opportunity to take the unique story of the All Blacks into a huge number of markets and households around the world." The series is "slated to be produced" by Mother Media Group in conjunction with Warner Brothers New Zealand and exec producers Eden Gaha, Greg Heathcote and Bailey Mackey (TELEGRAPH, 8/14).
