League Championship Side Cardiff City Partners With University Of South Wales

League Championship side Cardiff City and the University of South Wales "joined forces to develop the next generation of football experts in China," according to WALES ONLINE. The agreement will see Cardiff City staff help recruit students in China, who will then study the Football Coaching Development & Administration degree at USW’s Pontypridd Campus. During the three-year, full-time course, the club will also provide work placements for the students. Cardiff City Owner Vincent Tan said, "I'm very pleased that Cardiff City FC is helping to develop football in Asia, particularly now in China and in partnership with USW. We hope to be able to do the same in other countries in the future" (WALES ONLINE, 8/14).
