Marketplace Roundup: Everton Signs Three-Year Deal With Davanti Tyres

Premier League side Everton agreed to a new three-year deal with Davanti Tyres, which will become the club's official tire partner. The company will have a brand presence at Everton's home matches and on the club's digital channels (Everton).

League Championship side Queens Park Rangers "unveiled a new signing that has helped to drive season ticket uptake at Loftus Road." The club recently signed financial consultant First Capital Cashflow to manage direct debit payments from its season ticket holders. QPR is claiming to have seen a "40% increase in fans opting to pay for their season ticket via installments compared to the previous financing arrangement" (BDAILY, 8/8).

League 1 rugby side York City Knights appointed accounting firm Garbutt + Elliott to provide accountancy and business services. The practice has "handled the club's payroll needs" since the beginning of the year, and will now deliver a "range of services to support further development of the club" (BDAILY, 8/8).

Clipper Round the World Yacht Race named Nasdaq as a team partner for its next edition. The Nasdaq Stock Market will partner with "one of twelve teams aboard identical modern 70-foot ocean racing yachts," carrying its brand message to "Ignite your ambition" on the year-long 40,000-nautical-mile circumnavigation. The Clipper Race has had a relationship with Nasdaq since '11 "in a partnership based on the New York stage of the race" (SAIL-WORLD, 8/8).

League Championship side Brentford announced a three-year platinum partnership with the University of West London. UWL's logo will from this season be on the top tier of the Brook Road Stand at Griffin Park. The university's brand will also be featured on the rear of players' shirts and shorts across the first team and B team playing kits (Brentford).

Indian women's cricket national team member Smriti Mandhana signed a multi-year representation association with sports marketing firm Baseline Ventures (ECONOMIC TIMES, 8/8).
