BBC To Show One Match From Every FA Cup Qualifying Round

The BBC will broadcast one game from every round of FA Cup qualifying, starting on Saturday. Since the FA Cup returned to the BBC in '14-15, the corporation has shown live matches from the first round proper onward. Coverage will now start six rounds earlier, when the extra preliminary stage gets underway this weekend. The first match shown live will be the Merseyside derby between Litherland REMYCA and AFC Liverpool. A game from every stage of the '17-18 tournament will be livestreamed across BBC Sport's digital platforms. Matches will also be available live and on-demand on BBC iPlayer (BBC).

LONDON ATP: In London, Kieran Gill reported the BBC "will hold talks" to decide whether to continue showing London's ATP World Tour Finals on free-to-air TV from '19. It comes "after news broke" that Sky Sports was beaten to the rights to the ATP World Tour by Amazon in a £10M ($13M)-a-year deal. The BBC's current contract lasts until '18 -- the same as Sky's -- and it "will discuss whether to try to do a new deal" closer to that time (DAILY MAIL, 8/2).
