WWE announced JOHN BRODY, who has overseen WWE's global sales team since '15, will now also oversee WWE's int'l division under the purview of WWE CRO & CMO MICHELLE WILSON. Effective immediately, Brody's new title will be EVP, global sales & head of int'l (WWE). ... PGA Tour RBC Canadian Open Tournament Dir BRENT MCLAUGHLIN was "temporarily removed from his position" mid-tournament over the weekend. Former Tournament Dir BILL PAUL took over in McLaughlin's absence (TSN, 7/29). ... McLaren Technology Group Chief Communications Officer & Group Media, Content & Communications Dir MATT BISHOP announced his decision to move on after 10 years with the company (McLaren). ... Former EuroLeague Basketball Chief TV & New Media Officer ANDREA BASSANI was appointed as the EuroCup media manager and will head the new centralized media rights structure for the competition. Bassani, who was one of the founding members that led to the creation of the EuroLeague in '00, led the media rights distribution of the EuroLeague for the last 17 years (EuroLeague). ... Toyota named two execs to oversee its global Olympic sponsorship in North America. CHRIS SCHULTZ, GM of its N.Y. and Denver regions, will become GM of Olympic-Paralympic marketing. He will report to Toyota North America Group VP of Marketing ED LAUKES. Also joining as group manager of Olympic-Paralympic marketing is DEDRA DELILLI, who built TD Ameritrade's first sports sponsorship team and helped secure its U.S. Olympic Committee and NFL deals (Ben Fischer, SportsBusiness Journal).

: ATSUNORI INABA "assumed the responsibility for winning" Japan's first Olympic Gold Medal in baseball after being named manager of the men's national team. Inaba has "zero managing experience" (KYODO, 7/31). ... The Federation of Uganda FAs appointed MOSES BASENA and FRED KAJOBA as interim coaches of the national team. The two local coaches replace MILUTIN SREDOJEVIĆ, who terminated his contract on Saturday "over unpaid wages." FUFA admitted it owes the Serbian $54,000, and said that it "has plans to clear the debt" (BBC, 7/31).
