Franchise Notes: Barcelona Will Not Increase Price Of Season Tickets For Members

Barcelona announced that it will not increase the price of season tickets for members. For the eighth consecutive year, the club will only apply the consumer price index in the annual fee for season-ticket holders. This year's season ticket price for a Barcelona member will be €39 ($44.94), while Real Madrid members will pay €82 ($94.48) and Man City members will pay €109 ($125.59) (EL PERIÓDICO, 7/18).

Indian Super League side NorthEast United took its "first major step" toward "nurturing footballing talent" across the eight states of Northeast India by "launching its own residential youth academy on Wednesday." The Centre of Excellence "will operate out of Shillong." The plan "fell into place" after NorthEast United "joined hands" with Shillong United (TIMES OF INDIA, 7/19).
