Chivas TV Announces Partnership With NBC Sports' Playmaker Media

Liga MX side Chivas Guadalajara announced it will launch a new version of Chivas TV for the upcoming season, according to AS. Chivas TV announced a partnership with NBC Sports' Playmaker Media to "improve the broadcasts" and offer users a "better experience." The biggest change in Chivas TV 2.0 will be "the support of Playmaker and NBC Sports Digital, which currently carries Telemundo sporting events." The quality of broadcasts "was the principal complaint of many Chivas TV users last season." In addition to the first team's games, Chivas TV will offer coverage of the U17 and U20 teams, as well as interviews and features with players and members of the coaching staff (AS, 7/10).
