World Rugby announced the appointment of TOM HILL as CCO. Hill starts his new role at the end of September. He will be responsible for driving World Rugby's commercial, broadcast and marketing strategies. Hill joins from ManU, where he worked as global head of partnerships & operations (AROUND THE RINGS, 7/7). ... The Indonesian FA (PSSI) chose RATU TISHA DESTRIA as its new secretary general -- "the first woman in the association's history to hold the position." The mathematics graduate from the Bandung Institute of Technology also holds a master's degree in sports management and law (JAKARTA GLOBE, 7/9). ... Ligue 1 side Monaco announced Sporting Dir ANTONIO CORDÓN will leave the club "after just a year in the job." Cordón signed a three-year contract in July '16. However, he is now set to leave the club "in the coming months" after opting to take on a new role elsewhere (ESPN.com, 7/7).
