Media Notes: Premier League Clubs To Resist Cameras In Dressing Rooms

Premier League clubs are "set to resist calls to allow cameras into dressing rooms and interviews with managers during matches." BT Sport Head Simon Green called for football to "embrace the kind of access that the American sports allow broadcasters" but there is "strong resistance, especially at the bigger clubs, to permit such changes." Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville said that he "disagreed with the proposal," while senior club execs said that there would be "stiff opposition" (LONDON TIMES, 6/3).

Eleven Sports signed a carriage deal that "will see all three of its channels become available to subscribers of Play Now in Poland." Thanks to the agreement with P4, the operator of the Play network, the Eleven Extra channel "will be offered as part of Play Now’s Basic package." Meanwhile, Eleven and Eleven Sports channels will be available "as part of the Play Now Sport package" (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 6/1).
