League Two Side Notts County Launches Unique Shirt Sponsorship Scheme

League Two side Notts County wants to "unite with the city's businesses after launching a unique shirt sponsorship package," according to Leigh Curtis of the NOTTINGHAM POST. The club is "offering firms the chance to sponsor the first-team shirt, which is being sold on a month-by-month basis." After its association with betting firm Ladbrokes came to an end during the summer, Notts Owner Alan Hardy now "wants the shirt sponsors to have a place in the city's community." Law firm Eversheds and accounting firm Baldwins signed up while Hardy's Paragon "will sponsor the shirts for the cup matches." Five packages, which cost £15,000 ($19,318) each, have "already been sold" (NOTTINGHAM POST, 5/29).
