Franchise Notes: Scottish Club Ross County Cuts Season Ticket Costs By £100

Scottish Premiership club Ross County "has cut the costs of its season tickets for next season." The Dingwall-based club "reduced the price of an adult season ticket for the Jail End south stand" by £100 ($129) to £200 ($258). The club also "reduced the prices offered to young fans," including a new £5 ($6.45) season ticket for U12s, and cut over-65s and over-75s' costs. Ross County Chair Roy MacGregor said that the decision to "offer cheaper season tickets had followed a meeting with fans" (BBC, 5/11).

Barcelona and Georgetown University reached an agreement to explore possible avenues of cooperation within the framework of the Barça Innovation Hub. The signing ceremony was attended by Barça Innovation Hub Commissioner Jordi Monés and Georgetown School of Continuing Studies Dean Kelly Otter. Haas Formula 1 signed Indian Arjun Maini as a development driver alongside 18-year-old American Santino Ferrucci. The 19-year-old Maini is competing in the GP3 Series for Jenzer Motorsport after running 14 of the 18 GP3 Series races in '16 (Haas F1).

Rugby side Bradford Bulls insisted there is "no substance" to claims which have been launched against the club by nearly 50 former Bulls players and staff "before its liquidation in January." The club said in a statement, "We are aware of a claim against our club, the RFL (Rugby Football League), and the administrator regarding employees of the liquidated company Bradford Bulls Northern Limited. ... The legal advice given concerning this matter is that there is no substance to this claim" (TELEGRAPH & ARGUS, 5/10).
