Marketplace Roundup: Marketing Agency Mongoose Adds NFL Jacksonville Jaguars

Sports and entertainment marketing agency Mongoose announced the addition of the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars to its client roster. Mongoose will be the exclusive U.K. sponsorship agency supporting the Jaguars. The appointment comes ahead of the fifth consecutive year the Jaguars will play in the NFL's Int'l Series games in London, which this season will see four NFL games played in the U.K. market (Mongoose).

Formula E announced a partnership with Qatar Airways for the Paris and N.Y. ePrix. The national carrier of the State of Qatar was named the official airline partner and title sponsor of the Paris ePrix, taking place on May 20. The airline will also be named the official airline partner of the N.Y. ePrix taking place on July 15 and 16 (Formula E). 

World Rugby announced Land Rover renewed as a Rugby World Cup 2019 worldwide partner. Land Rover will be the official vehicle of the event within an extended deal that will see the vehicle manufacturer support other World Rugby events (World Rugby). 

Serie A side Lazio entered into a two-year sponsorship agreement with Seleco. The electronics company’s logo will be featured on the front of the club’s home and away shirts until the end of the '17-18 season. It will also have a "strong brand presence at Lazio’s home ground, the Stadio Olimpico." The two-year deal is reportedly worth €4M ($4.4M) each season and Seleco has the first option to extend with Lazio (SOCCEREX, 5/3).

England Cricket's new kit "will be a throwback to the past." England unveiled its new Test, one-day and Twenty20 kits designed by new supplier New Balance, which "brought back the traditional cable knit cream sweater" (London TELEGRAPH, 5/2).

The Irish FA announced electricity company Electric Ireland as the new head sponsor of women's football in Northern Ireland. The partnership "aims to boost female football participation rates across Northern Ireland" with Electric Ireland the official sponsor of the UEFA Women’s U19 Championship 2017, which takes place in August, and Girls’ Post Primary Schools Football and Schools Cup (BELFAST LIVE, 5/3).
