Australian Football League side Hawthorn announced TRACEY GAUDRY as CEO. Gaudry is a former Olympic cyclist, current Athletics Australia GM of commercial & growth, VP of the Int'l Cycling Union (UCI) and an IOC contributor (Hawthorn). ... Ligue 2 side Auxerre President GUY COTRET will leave his post “in the coming days.” Club Owner JAMES ZHOU said that Cotret’s replacement will be known shortly. Cotret has been the president of Auxerre since ’13 (L’ÉQUIPE, 4/29). ... Cricket Hong Kong announced the appointment of the chief selector of representative squads, MARK WRIGHT, as director of cricket. This comes "in the wake of the unexpected resignations" of two senior execs this month. Wright, who came to the city in '07, has "held a number of positions," including stints as player-coach of the senior men's side and of Hong Kong Cricket Club (SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST, 4/28). ... Spanish second division side Elche coach VICENTE PARRAS, who was hired to replace ALBERTO TORIL, "led his first practice as the team's head coach on Monday" (AS, 5/1).
