English Ale Doom Bar Will Sponsor British & Irish Lions Tour Of New Zealand

English cask ale Doom Bar "will be an official sponsor for the British & Irish Lions rugby tour to New Zealand this summer," according to Shay Waterworth of DRINKS INT'L. Sharp’s Brewery, based in Cornwall, England, announced Doom Bar will "sponsor the tour which already has financial backing from Mud House wine and Whyte & Mackay scotch whiskey." Doom Bar’s sponsorship will "cover the three test matches against the All Blacks, as well as the seven warm up fixtures" (DRINKS INT'L, 4/11).

MATCH OFFICIALS: Specsavers signed on to sponsor the New Zealand Lions series '17 match officials. All referees with duties at the tournament will wear a new strip in the Specsavers' green and white colors. The British & Irish Lions will play 10 matches on their tour of New Zealand (Specsavers).
