Marketplace Roundup: Feyenoord Secures Four-Year Deal With Qurrent

Dutch side Feyenoord secured a four-year agreement with green electricity supplier Qurrent. The Dutch company will be the front-of-shirt sponsor for the club's first team, academy teams and amateur team Sportclub Feyenoord. Qurrent "replaces long-term sponsor Opel." The financial terms of the deal, which runs until '21, have not been released (SOCCEREX, 4/10).

La Liga struck an agreement for Sela Sport to become its official and exclusive commercial partner for the Middle East and North Africa, where the firm will work on marketing the Spanish institution's commercial rights across a variety of channels (La Liga).

U.K. mid-market hotel chain Jurys Inn has been "announced as the headline sponsor of The Tour Series event when it comes to Wembley Park this May for the first time ever." The event will bring Britain's "leading male and female cyclists" to the location for an evening of racing on May 16. The Tour Series will visit Wembley Park, an area undergoing a "landmark regeneration," with races on a 1.5km circuit of the area (CATERLYST, 4/10).

Telecom Ooredoo announced the addition of three Qatari motorsports drivers to its Ooredoo Speed Team. Through its sponsorship, Ooredoo will "support" rally drivers Adel Abdulla and Mohamed al-Harqan, and motorcycle rider Saeed al-Sulaiti through the '17 season (GULF TIMES, 4/10).
