Marketplace Roundup: La Liga Side Espanyol Partners With InnJoo, Vebet.com

La Liga side Espanyol announced a partnership with software brand InnJoo. InnJoo's logo will appear on the lower back of the Espanyol shirt, starting with Saturday's game against Alavés. The deal "is initially for the rest of the current season, but both parties are interested in an extension" (MARCA, 4/6). Espanyol also partnered with online betting site Vebet.com, which will become a regional partner of the club in Asia (EL PERIÓDICO, 4/5).

Energy company Total was named an official sponsor of the Copa Argentina, the country's top domestic football competition, starting with the '17 edition. Total, through its Total Quartz brand, will be the tournament's principal sponsor (Copa Argentina).

Bicycle manufacturer Hero Cycles was named a principal sponsor of Indian Premier League side Kings XI Punjab. The announcement comes ahead of the 10th season of the IPL (TNN, 4/6).

Lender Together announced its partnership with Premiership rugby team Sale Sharks in a two-year deal that will run until June '19 (Together).

The Indonesian Cycling Federation (ISSI) signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Italian cycling equipment maker SH+. The company will supply the Indonesian national team with cycling equipment such as helmets and glasses (JAKARTA GLOBE, 4/6).

Sports consulting firm Time For Biz signed a partnership with the French National Handball League (LNH). The two-year agreement will give LNH clubs access to Time For Biz in order to further their brands in Europe and North America (LNH).

Top14 side Toulon players are featured in a new Volkswagen ad campaign to promote the arrival of the car maker’s utility van, Crafter, to the French market. A team partner for six years, VW is releasing three ads which were produced by Re-mind Phd & Fuse (TOPCOM, 4/5).
