Media Notes: IMG's Sport 24 Picks Up Major Horseracing Events

IMG's Sport 24, the only 24/7 live inflight and cruise line sports channel, will show live coverage of six global horse racing events, following an agreement with Racecourse Media Group and Henry Birtles Associates. The IMG-owned and operated service will broadcast live action and a one-hour highlights program for each of the race days across Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra. It is the first time live horseracing will be broadcast on airlines and cruise lines (IMG). 

Lagardère Sports announced it negotiated deals that will see media rights for the Int'l Table Tennis Federation's key events awarded to Fox Sports Australia and Fox Networks Group in the Republic of Korea. Both networks will broadcast ITTF's leading competitions. Content will be made available to fans via multiple media platforms including cable TV, satellite, IPTV, video-on-demand, internet and mobile (Fox Sports).
