The French Football Federation re-elected NOËL LE GRAËT as president. He was elected by earning 57.4% of the votes over JACQUES ROUSSELOT (41.9%). Le Graët will serve through ’20 (FFF). ... OTT service provider Xumo appointed CHRIS HALL as SVP of product. Hall "brings 11 years of experience in diverse media environments" including time spent working for the NFL and Red Bull Media House (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 3/17). ... Eurosport exec JEAN-THIERRY AUGUSTIN "is to leave the Discovery-owned broadcaster." For the past two years, Augustin had been president of sports & Olympics development within Discovery Networks Int'l, but he "served the company in multiple roles for almost 15 years." After negotiating as part of the Discovery team in its rights acquisition deal with the IOC, he then negotiated "a number of sub licensing deals with broadcasters including the BBC and TVP" (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 3/16). ... Argentine JOSE LUIS CAMPO was re-elected president of the Americas Paralympic Committee at the APC General Assembly in São Paulo, Brazil, on Saturday (APC).

COACHES/MANAGERS: I-League side Mumbai decided to "part ways" with head coach SANTOSH KASHYAP. In June, Kashyap was named head coach of Mumbai for the '16-17 I-League season, replacing KHALID JAMIL, who was with the club for seven years (PTI, 3/18). ... OCTAVIO ZAMBRANO was named head coach of Canada's men's national football team on Friday, with the Ecuadorian "handed the task of ending decades of failure on the pitch." Zambrano takes over from BENITO FLORO, "who was not offered a new contract following Canada's elimination during the early qualifying stages for the 2018 World Cup" (REUTERS, 3/17). ... La Liga side Las Palmas coach QUIQUE SETIÉN announced "he will step down at the end of the season." Setién said, "When conversations began [over a new contract] it appeared to be only a matter of time before an agreement was reached as the questions to be resolved were minimal, but they have been increasing as time has gone on. Those differences have now become irreconcilable" (AS, 3/18).
