Under Armour named General Motors Global Advanced Design Dir of Design CLAY DEAN to the new role of chief innovation officer, reporting directly to President of Category Management & Innovation KEVIN HALEY. Dean will be responsible for driving UA's vision and strategy for innovation, as well as cross-functional collaboration with its internal design, marketing, product and category management teams (Under Armour).

COACHES/MANAGERS: League Championship side Nottingham Forest announced the appointment of MARK WARBURTON as its new manager. Warburton, 54, signed a two-and-a-half-year contract and “will be joined” by assistant DAVID WEIR. Warburton, who takes over a Forest team "sliding toward the relegation zone" in the Championship, “made his breakthrough with Brentford” before managing Scottish Premiership side Rangers (ESPN.com, 3/14). ... League Championship side Derby County confirmed the appointment of GARY ROWETT as its new manager. The former Burton Albion and Birmingham City boss, who played for Derby from '95-98, replaces STEVE MCCLAREN. Rowett signed a contract until the end of the '18-19 season (PA, 3/14).
