West Ham United Freezes Season-Ticket Prices For Next Season
Premier League side West Ham United announced "a price freeze on season tickets" for its second campaign at the London Stadium, according to the PA. West Ham has an existing 52,000 season-ticket holders at the former Olympic Stadium, "and a waiting list of 55,000." The cheapest adult season ticket was £289 ($353) for the '16-17 campaign -- West Ham's first since leaving Upton Park -- while season tickets for U16s were £99 ($121). West Ham co-Chairs David Sullivan and David Gold in a statement said, "We promised to provide affordable Premier League football for our 52,000 founding season-ticket holders, and that promise is ongoing" (PA, 3/13).
