Bundesliga side RB Leipzig named MATTHIAS REICHWALD its new commercial director. Reichwald will work under CEO & Managing Dir OLIVER MINTZLAFF (SÄCHSISCHE ZEITUNG, 3/7). ... BT is to reveal on Thursday that JAN DU PLESSIS will become its new chair, replacing MIKE RAKE. The British telecom has "been on the hunt for a successor" to Rake, who said last year that he would stand down in '17. BT declined to comment but sources close to the two companies said that his appointment "would be confirmed on Thursday" (FINANCIAL TIMES, 3/8).

COACHES/MANAGERS: The Angola Football Federation appointed Brazil's ROBERTO BIANCHI as its new coach. The 50-year-old, who previously worked in Jordan, Spain, Montenegro and Indonesia, replaces JOSÉ KILAMBA, who had been coaching Angola since '15. Bianchi has coached Angolan club Petro de Luanda since last year (BBC, 3/8). ... The Danish Handball Association (DHF) announced former Danish int'l and current Bundesliga coach NIKOLAJ JACOBSEN will be the "new coach of the Danish men's handball team, effective immediately." He succeeds GUDMUNDUR GUDMUNDSSON. Jacobsen, who played nearly 150 games for Denmark from '91-03 and won three German championships between '99 and '03, won the German championship as coach of Rhein-Neckar Löwen (CPH POST, 3/6).
