Adidas appointed HARM OHLMEYER, head of the group's global ecommerce business, as new CFO from May 12, replacing ROBIN STALKER, who "served alongside" former CEO HERBERT HAINER for 16 years. Ohlmeyer, 49, joined the company in '98, holding roles including head of finance for the core adidas brand and finance chief for the firm's golf business, "before taking over as ecommerce chief" in '11 (REUTERS, 3/7). ... A source close to the club said that Tottenham Hotspur placed Recruitment Head PAUL MITCHELL on "gardening leave, where he is free to find another job." Mitchell served six months of a 16-month notice period "after resigning in August but he stopped work last month" following the appointment of STEVE HITCHEN as chief scout (ESPN.com, 3/7). ... Tennis Australia President STEVE HEALY announced his "decision to step down next month to pursue business interests" and will "initially be replaced" by CHRIS FREEMAN. Healy, who joined Tennis Australia in '08 and was elected president two years later, was last year appointed the Australia region CEO and chair of partners of global law firm Dentons. Freeman will take over as interim chair until October, when a new chair will be elected at the Tennis Australia annual general meeting (REUTERS, 3/7).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Paraguayan football club Cerro Porteño sacked coach GUSTAVO FLORENTÍN. The team announced the decision on Monday. Possible replacements for Florentín include PEDRO TROGLIO, LEONARDO ASTRADA, EDUARDO COUDET and MARIO CÉSAR JACQUET (HOY, 3/7). ... La Liga side Málaga announced the appointment of MÍCHEL as its new head coach "just hours after parting company with MARCELO ROMERO." Romero's "brief spell in charge" of Málaga came to an end on Tuesday morning. The club "moved quickly to find his successor, handing the reins to" former Sevilla and Greek club Olympiakos coach JOSÉ MIGUEL GONZÁLEZ MARTIN, better known as Míchel. Míchel, 53, had been without a club since being dismissed by Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille in April '16 (ESPN.com, 3/7). ... Frenchman SÉBASTIEN MIGNÉ replaced compatriot PIERRE LECHANTRE as coach of Congo's men's national football team. Congo had been without a permanent coach since Lechantre was sacked in November (BBC, 3/7). ... CRAIG SHAKESPEARE will be offered the EPL side Leicester City manager's job "until the end of the season." Shakespeare was CLAUDIO RANIERI's assistant, and "has been caretaker boss since the Italian was sacked in February." Shakespeare has never managed full-time (BBC, 3/7).
