Dan Carter Named TAG Heuer Ambassador After Losing Land Rover Deal

New Zealand rugby player Dan Carter "has taken no time in finding a new major sponsor," according to the NEW ZEALAND HERALD. Dropped by Land Rover after he "publicly admitted driving drunk in Paris," Carter was signed by watchmaker TAG Heuer, which made him a brand ambassador (NZ HERALD, 3/7). STUFF reported Carter joins Tom Brady, Cristiano Ronaldo and model Bella Hadid as ambassadors for the brand. A press conference to announce Carter's watch deal "was held at the top of the Tour Montparnasse, opposite the Eiffel Tower, with a haka performed by school children" (STUFF, 3/7).
