Media Notes: Lagardère Sports Announces U.K. Media Deal With Diver Tom Daley

Lagardère Sports announced it signed an exclusive U.K. media rights deal with Olympic diving medalist Tom Daley. Using Daley's social media following, Lagardère Sports will provide a live stream of the FINA World Series 2017 to his YouTube channel (Lagardère Sports).

The Coupe de France match between Olympique de Marseille and Monaco drew an average audience of 2.8 million viewers to France 3, translating to a 13.2% market share. The round of 16 match, which Monaco won 4-3, drew the third-highest national audience for the channel on Wednesday (L’ÉQUIPE, 3/2).

SuperSoccer TV, a service that allows subscribers to view int'l football matches on their mobile devices, announced a strategic partnership with Al Jazeera-affiliated beIN Sports on Thursday, "in a bid to increase the platform's presence in Indonesia." The partnership will provide online viewing access to int'l football leagues for SuperSoccer TV subscribers "through a new mobile application." These include the English Premier League, La Liga, UEFA Champions League and the Europa League (JAKARTA GLOBE, 3/3).
