Spanish Anti-Doping Agency (AEPSAD) Dir ENRIQUE GÓMEZ BASTIDA was relieved of his position on Wednesday. Spain's Superior Sports Council (CSD) announced the news in a statement. Bastida joined AEPSAD in '13 (AS, 3/1). ... Paralympics Ireland announced MIRIAM MALONE will take up the position of CEO after 11 years as the business partnerships director and member of the management team of the FA of Ireland. Prior to that, Malone headed up Kilkenny Local Sports Partnership and also worked for Special Olympics in a development role (IPC). ... German media company Constantin Medien "extended the contract with" CEO FRED KOGEL until Dec. 31, 2018. The 56-year old has been a member of the management board since Oct. 1, 2014 and became CEO on Jan. 1, 2016. The media manager previously held positions at ZDF, Sat.1 and Kirch Media, among others (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 3/1). ... League One side Chesterfield Dir of Football CHRIS TURNER left the "struggling" club. The 58-year-old moved from his position as CEO to director of football earlier this year. Club Dir ASHLEY CARSON said that the role was now "redundant" (BBC, 3/1). ... Adidas named Wasserman VP/Global Football AARON MAINES director of football sports marketing. Maines will oversee the brand's partnerships with MLS, its clubs and athletes. While at Wasserman, he was responsible for identifying, recruiting, signing and managing football clients (Ian Thomas, Staff Writer).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Liga MX side América's women's team named LEONARDO CUELLAR its coach. Cuellar previously coached Mexico's women's national football team from '98-16 (AZTECA DEPORTES, 2/28). ... The Ghana FA "installed MAXWELL KONADU as caretaker coach until a permanent successor to AVRAM GRANT is appointed." Konadu, 44, held the position in '14 after KWESI APPIAH left. He has also been Ghana's assistant coach and managed the U20 and U23 teams (BBC, 3/1).
