Marketplace Roundup: Netball Side Wasps Partner With Jaguar Land Rover

Netball Superleague side Wasps named car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover its official kit partner in a multi-year deal. The move sees Jaguar Land Rover build on its partnership with the Wasps family as partners of Premiership rugby side Wasps. The University of Warwick was also announced as a Wasps Netball partner, while Wasps rugby sponsor DS Smith extended its support to Wasps Netball. All three parties will be featured on the club's new kit (SPORT INDUSTRY, 2/14).

Championship Netball side Melbourne Vixens announced lululemon as its official apparel partner for '17. The partnership will see lululemon provide all training and travel kit apparel for the team (Vixens). 

Int'l aviation fuel products and service supplier Air BP announced it is the official sponsor of the 2017 Red Bull Air Race World Championship, and will serve as both the fuel supplier and carbon reduction partner for the '17 season. As part of the deal, Air BP will work with Red Bull Air Race to offset the carbon emissions associated with aviation fuel during the '17 season (BP). 

Puma presented its newest ambassador -- Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl. The German int'l will wear the new Puma evoPOWER Vigor 1. Weigl will be involved in all media and sales campaigns (Puma).
