Northern Ireland Football League Premiership side Linfield elected ROY MCGIVERN as the club's new chair. McGivern, who has been serving as the club's business director, "succeeds JIM KERR who stood down from the role earlier this month." The 50-year-old Newtownabbey-based civil servant joined the Linfield board in May '14 (BBC, 1/31). ... Liga MX side Puebla announced that it sacked coach RICARDO VALIÑO "and the team already has his replacement," club President CARLOS LÓPEZ confirmed. Puebla is expected to name JOSÉ CARDOZO its new coach (LA AFICIÓN, 1/30). ... DENNIS LAWRENCE was appointed head coach of Trinidad and Tobago. The former EPL side Swansea City player and Everton first-team development coach was officially unveiled as the country's new head coach. Former England defender SOL CAMPBELL was announced as Lawrence's assistant (FIFA).
