Zimbabwe Karate Union appointed PAUL DANISA its interim president. He was the ZKU technical director before taking over for JOE RUGWETE, who resigned last month with a year to go on his contract. Danisa was appointed alongside STEWART MARAMBA, who comes in as interim treasurer to replace MORAG FLIGHT, who also stepped down (ZIMBABWE HERALD, 1/27). ... Infront Germany added MARCO SAUTNER as its second managing director. Sautner joins REINHARDT WEINBERGER at the head of the German subsidiary of Infront Sport & Media with immediate effect (Infront). ... MICHEL DUSSUYER "stood down as Ivory Coast manager following his team's early elimination at the Africa Cup of Nations." The Frenchman's decision to resign after 18 months on the job was announced by the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF). The Elephants "failed to register a win in Gabon" (BBC, 1/29).
