Pro D2 rugby side Biarritz Olympique announced AFC Promotion as a new sponsor. The French real estate development company’s logo will be seen on the back of BO’s jersey for the next three seasons. No financials were announced. BO also announced a sleeve sponsorship deal with Heartprotekt. Heartprotekt specializes in solutions in the area of life-saving aid (Biarritz Olympique).

Australian Football League club Port Adelaide has entered into a partnership with Chinese airline Cathay Pacific. The partnership, which will begin in '17, will make Cathay the club's official int'l airline partner from '17. Furthermore, the company's branding will be featured at the team's home ground, the Adelaide Oval (Port Adelaide).

Spain's leading esports league Liga de Videojuegos Profesional (LVP) announced that its top-tier division will change its name from Division de Honor to Superliga Orange following the agreement "reached between the operator and LVP managing entity Fandroid." Under the terms of the agreement, Orange "will sponsor the LVP’s top-tier division" until '18 (TELECOM PAPER, 12/20).
