Serie A Side AS Roma Launches Arabic-Language Website Following Twitter Poll

Serie A side AS Roma debuted its Arabic-language website at asroma.com/ar, an effort that is the result of Twitter-based fan polling. The club last month opened polling on its new official website, and 84% of more than 44,000 respondents opted for an Arabic-language destination. The new site continues a relationship between AS Roma and N.Y.-based digital consultancy Omnigon, which last year aided the club on what it called the "world's first crowdsourced official football club website." AS Roma Head of Digital Paul Rogers: "Our decision to allow fans to choose the language of the site aligns with our strategy to engage with them at every level of our digital development."
