Marketplace Roundup: Bordeaux To Wear Special Jersey To Raise Funds For Hospital

For the Ligue 1 match between Girondins de Bordeaux and AS Monaco, Bordeaux players will wear a jersey designed by French artist Jofo to support the project to renovate a fresco at the Bordeaux children’s hospital. To raise money for the project, the club will sell the jerseys on its online shop for €99 ($106) for adults and €79 ($85) for children. Bordeaux’s jersey has been void of a sponsor for Ligue 1 matches since the end of its front-of-shirt sponsorship with Kia (Girondins de Bordeaux).

Barcelona and Scotiabank reached a regional sponsorship agreement for the next three seasons. The deal -- the first the club has signed since opening its N.Y. office in September -- was presented at events in Mexico City, Lima and Santiago. It will run through the '18-19 season, with the option of an extension for two more seasons. Part of the payment Scotiabank makes to Barcelona will be used to implement the "FutbolNet" program the club and its foundation have been developing since '11 (Barcelona).

France’s National Rugby League (LNR) announced French food distributer Andros as an official provider for the Top14 until the ’19-20 season. Andros will benefit from brand visibility at all Top14 regular season and postseason matches (LNR).
