League One side Chesterfield Chair & Dir DAVE ALLEN has "resigned from both positions." Allen had previously been Chesterfield's CEO but took over as chair in '12 to "help the club out of financial difficulty." Allen announced his decision to step down "at the club's AGM on Monday" (PA, 11/14).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Switzerland national basketball team coach PETAR ALEKSIĆ said that he is leaving his post, "after four years with the team." He said that he wanted to "concentrate on his club," Swiss Pro side Fribourg Olympic. Swiss Basketball President GIANCARLO SERGI said, "Petar Aleksić has other ambitions besides coaching the Swiss team and we understand" (24 HEURES, 11/15). ... League One side Charlton Athletic "parted company" with Manager RUSSELL SLADE after just 16 matches in charge. Slade was appointed on June 6, signing a three-year-deal, but with the club 15th in the table and six points off the playoff places, "the 56-year-old has been relieved of his duties" (PA, 11/14). ... League Two side Mansfield parted ways with Manager ADAM MURRAY and its first-team coaches. Murray, KARL HAWLEY and RICHARD COOPER have "left the club." Murray, 35, "one of the Football League's youngest managers, had been in charge for just short of two years." The club's announcement was "made after talks" between Murray and club Chair JOHN RADFORD following Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Portsmouth (PA, 11/14). ... Former Myanmar U16 and Yangon United title-winning coach ERIC WILLIAMS was announced as the new Malacca United coach ahead of its Super League debut next season. Having built his coaching profile in Indonesia with Perseman Manokwari and "a successful run" with Yangon United in Myanmar, the Englishman, who also carries an Australian passport, arrived to begin "what could be his biggest test yet as a coach."  He signed on a one-year contract, "with a view of an extension should his stint prove successful" (NEW STRAITS TIMES, 11/15). ... TATSUMA YOSHIDA has been named Ventforet Kofu's new manager, the J.League side said.  The 42-year-old Yoshida, who has had managerial experience with Kashiwa Reysol and Albirex Niigata, will replace the exiting SATORU SAKUMA, who announced in November "his intention to focus on his role as general manager" (KYODO 11/15).
