MotoGP Reaches TV Deal For 2017 Season Across Various European Countries

Dorna Sports signed a series of TV agreements for the 2017 MotoGP season in Scandinavia, the Baltics and Romania. The renewals in Scandinavia (Sweden, Denmark and Norway) and the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) are with Viasat, the pay-TV operator owned by the Modern Times Group. MotoGP will continue to be shown on Viasat Motor Channel and video streaming service Viaplay until the end of '19. Viasat is also adding to its motorsport portfolio the Red Bull Rookies Cup and the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup. In Romania, a new and exclusive three-year agreement with Eurosport will see all races broadcast on the Eurosport 1 channel in the country. Qualifying and practice sessions will also be live or delayed on Eurosport 1, with all sessions also available via Eurosport player (MotoGP).
