Event Notes: 2021 Solheim Cup Will Be Played At Inverness Club In Ohio

The LPGA said that the 2021 Solheim Cup is headed to the Inverness Club, in Toledo, Ohio, which will play host to the 17th edition of the Solheim Cup, pitting the best players from the U.S. against the best from Europe. The Donald Ross-designed course boasts championship pedigree having hosted four U.S. Opens ('20, '31, '57, '79), two PGA Championships ('86, '93) and, most recently, the '03 & '11 U.S. Senior Open Championships. Tournament officials also announced Marathon Petroleum Corp. as the third global partner for the 2021 Solheim Cup alongside PING and Rolex (LPGA).

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and Dorna Sports have renewed the MotoGP contract to ensure that the Catalan Grand Prix is hosted at the Catalan track until '21. The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has hosted a race of the MotoGP World Championship since '92 (MotoGP).
